He spins in circles

He is the definition of curiosity and fun, always playful and energetic. Always on the move, he seems to have an endless supply of energy, and sometimes he even feels a little hyperactive! Whether he's chasing a toy or pouncing on imaginary prey, he constantly engages in some kind of action. When he gets really excited—especially during treat time—you might catch him spinning in circles, as if his joy just can't be contained. It's a quirky and adorable habit that shows just how much he loves the moment.

Though he has a lively and carefree personality, there's a touching backstory to his life. He, Phoenix, and Sapphire all shared the same biological father, but tragically, he passed away while still in his mother’s womb. However, the breeder—a nurse by profession—refused to give up on him. Using her skills, she was able to help revive him, bringing him back to life. This incredible act of care allowed him to survive, and he was hand-reared by the breeder for a few months, growing strong enough to eventually move to a new home. The breeder couldn't keep him but had gotten to know me and trusted that I would give him a loving home, so she chose to gift him to me. He’s been a cherished member of my growing furry family ever since. I'm so grateful for the breeder.

The Story Behind His Special Name

His name, Pickle Gwyrth, carries a special meaning. The breeder named him Pickle because of the special care he needed after what had happened to him, and I chose to keep that name as a tribute to his journey. "Gwyrth" is a Welsh word meaning "miracle," which felt fitting for him—after all, he quite literally came back to life. Together, his name reflects both his struggle and his incredible survival.

Though he is affectionate and loving towards both me and my other furry babies, he can be a bit picky when it comes to grooming. While he enjoys being close and cozy with others, he may show a little attitude when it's time for a brushing session, letting me know he is not a fan of being groomed. But despite this, his loving nature is undeniable.

Food is his other great passion! He is always ready for a treat and might even get a little too excited about mealtime. His hunger for food is matched only by his curiosity — sometimes he feels like he doesn’t quite grasp danger and might leap onto something without considering the consequences, adding a bit of chaos to the household. But no matter how wild his adventures get, his love and affection shine through in every cuddle and playful moment.
